KaysPay

Pay Nigerian Bills From Abroad

If you keep a Nigerian bank account, you can pay family bills, buy airtime and renew DStv from anywhere. Read the funding requirement below before downloading.

You need a Nigerian bank account

This is the important part. KaysPay is funded by naira transfer to a dedicated account issued in your name. There is currently no card payment and no international funding, so an overseas account alone will not work.

You also need a NIN or BVN

Nigerian regulation requires verified identity before a dedicated funding account can be issued. Most Nigerians abroad already hold one of these.

Buy airtime and data for family

Send a top-up to any supported Nigerian number directly, without asking someone at home to do it for you.

Renew DStv, GOtv and StarTimes

Pay a subscription against a smartcard number from wherever you are. The customer name on the account is shown before payment so you can confirm you have the right household.

Pay electricity bills

Settle a prepaid or postpaid account using the meter number. For prepaid, the token is returned in the transaction receipt so you can pass it on.

Everything is in naira

Amounts, prices and your balance are all in naira. There is no currency conversion inside the app and no exchange rate applied.

Time zone does not matter

Purchases are processed automatically rather than during Nigerian office hours, so you are not constrained by the time difference.

If you do not have a Nigerian account

KaysPay will not currently be usable for you. We would rather say so here than have you download it and find out at the funding screen.
